Election Alert: See our 2026 School Board Voter Guide
How we’re collecting, sharing, and evaluating candidate perspectives for P-CCS.
CAPES (Canton and Plymouth Education Squad) is dedicated to helping our community understand who is running for the School Board and where they stand on the issues that matter most.
Our process is centered on three pillars: student safety, a sense of belonging, and strong public education for all. While CAPES may choose to issue endorsements, this questionnaire (coming soon) serves as the primary tool for gathering the information needed to inform those decisions.
Important Dates
May 11: Questionnaires distributed to candidates
June 1: Submission deadline
June 4: Responses published online
June 11: CAPES Alignment Summary released
Transparency First
All completed responses will be shared publicly on our website, allowing families to easily compare candidate perspectives. Following publication, CAPES will provide a Values-Based Alignment Summary to help voters see how each candidate’s platform connects to our core priorities.
Late Entries: We recognize that some candidates may enter the race after our initial deadline. Any candidate declaring after June 1 will be invited to participate, with their responses published on a rolling basis.
Our Goal: To ensure the Plymouth-Canton community has clear, accessible information centered on what matters most—our students.
